Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by one of our experienced driver guides who will escort you to Arusha Town and to your reserved hotel. He will introduce you to this wonderful city and country.
Overnight at Arusha Planet hotel on Bed and Breakfast
After a tasty breakfast, our driver guide will pick you at your hotel together with your picnic lunch and drive you to Tarangire for game viewing, after hours of game drive we will proceed to Karatu for dinner and overnight.
The name of the park originates from the Tarangire River that crosses through the park, which is the only source of water for the wild animals here during the dry season. The park is famous for its large numbers of elephants, baobab trees and tree-climbing African pythons.
Dinner and overnight at Marera Valley Lodge on Full board basis
After breakfast, drive to Ngorongoro conservation area you will have your game viewing in the conservation area and visit the famous Ngorongoro crater. And if you are lucky this is the best place to see the Black Rhino. Later during the evening you will drive to Karatu town at your reserved accommodation for dinner and overnight.
The crater is world largest caldera which was formed after the explosion which occurred approximately 2-3 million years ago, the crater floor is 1,800 meters (5,900 feet) above sea level, the area has around 30,000 animals and a great variety of birds.
Dinner and overnight at Marera Valley Lodge on Full board basis
After breakfast our safari guide will pick you from your hotel/lodge and then proceed to Lake Manyara National Park for game viewing and a picnic lunch, after game drive transfer to Arusha/Kilimanjaro airport where the safari will end.
Manyara Park covers an area of only 330 sq km (127 sq miles), of which up to 200 sq km (77 sq miles) is made up of the lake when water levels are high. Lake Manyara is an excellent place for bird watching and a good area to find elephants, giraffes, zebras, baboons, warthogs, buffalos and maybe even a legendary tree-climbing lion!. At some point during your game drive you should get off your vehicle at the hippo pool to stretch your legs and observe the hippos here.
